How to Use:

Start with a clean, dry apparatus.

Beginning at your desired starting point (suggested: centre directly under span set), wrap the tape around the apparatus with consistent tension and slight overlap between each pass. Starting at the centre bottom, wrap to the right towards the span set. Once complete, begin from the centre bottom again, working your way towards the left.

*This is generalized instructions, please refer to how-to videos, education, and prepare yourself prior to beginning the project*

Smooth the tape as you work to reduce wrinkles and uneven areas.

Finish securely according to your usual apparatus-wrapping method.

For best results, regularly inspect your tape and replace it when it becomes excessively worn, loose, damaged, or contaminated.

Approximate quantity:
9–10 rolls to fully wrap a standard aerial hoop. Larger hoops or heavier overlap may require additional rolls. Please ensure to measure your apparatus prior to the taping process.

Material:

100% cotton with adhesive backing

Colour Options:

Choose from a range of colours to match your apparatus, studio, performance aesthetic, or personal style.

Colour appearance may vary slightly depending on screen settings and dye lots.

Important Information:

Velox Tressostar 90 is a surface-wrapping tape and is not a structural or safety component of an aerial apparatus.

Always inspect your apparatus and tape before training. Installation, rigging, and equipment maintenance should follow the recommendations of your equipment manufacturer and qualified aerial professionals.

Do not use tape to conceal damage to the underlying apparatus.

Why We Carry It:

Aerialists often have limited options when looking for high-quality apparatus tape in Canada, particularly when they want more than the standard black or white options.

Velox Tressostar 90 combines the familiar feel of traditional cotton tape with a wide colour selection, making it a practical way to customize and maintain your aerial equipment.
